Description

This workshop will provide manufacturers with a basic awareness of Export Compliance for Commercial and Military products. Guest speaker, Nicolette Reed, Vice President of Evolutions In Business, will cover the Compliance areas of concern for most manufactures and bring awareness to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). She will touch on the importance of CMMC Cyber protocols for ITAR. Nicolette will conclude with recommendations for an Export Compliance Program (ECP) structure.


Nicolette Reed, Vice President

Evolutions In Business (EIB)

Nicolette has gained the respect of both customers and colleagues alike for her public

speaking skills as well as her acumen of ITAR and EAR regulations. Nicolette has given

presentations on the Export Regulations throughout New England at places like

Manchester Community College, Bryant University in Rhode Island, the McAuliffe-Shepard

Discovery Center, and the Division of Economic Development Department of Business and

Economic Affairs in New Hampshire.

Nicolette has been working in Export Compliance alongside her mentor, Jeanette Reed for

many years. She first started working for EIB in 1997 as a Customer Service

Representative and an Administrative Assistant, while she attended Nashoba Valley Tech

for Graphic Design. After graduating, she went on to work as a Paralegal assistant at a law

firm for several years before rejoining EIB in 2009 in an Administrative Assistant and Sales

role and she gradually worked her way up to the role of Vice President.

Nicolette also moonlighted as DJ throughout New England for many years and managed her

own small Entertainment company. She now utilizes those skills to produce a Podcast

called EIB Export News which is hosted by Buzzsprout and is now listed on multiple

Podcast platforms and of course, you can also find her on Linked-In.
